3M Canada and Prudential Consulting to market solutions

Wegener Renews With Mega Hertz

Wegener Corp. said it renewed a $1.8 million distributor agreement with Mega Hertz for exclusive access to cable industry related products sold to U.S. cable operators.

Products include Wegener’s series of DTV digital signal processors and Unity 4600 professional satellite receivers. The two companies have had a distribution relationship for more than 20 years, they said.

Mega Hertz is a value-added reseller of multi-vendor solutions that support deployment of advanced video technologies over fiber and coax-based broadband and IP networks. It’s focused on marketing and integrating multi-vendor solutions to support digital cable operations across the United States.

System Builder Giant Seneca Stays On Distributor March With Fujitsu ...

System builder giant Seneca Data continued its march to grow its value added distribution business with a deal to distribute pen based convertible systems from Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation.

The Fujitsu deal adds yet another big name to the more than 100 vendors the system builder is distributing in addition to building and reselling its own Nexlink and Concentric systems brands. Fujitsu joins a long list of vendors that Seneca acts as a distributor for including tablet PC maker Motion Computing, Fault tolerant system maker NEC, PC and notebook maker Acer and networking players Netgear and D-Link.

The distribution pact steps up the battle between Seneca and distributors like Synnex which also carries the Fujitsu pen based tablet.

Steve Maser, vice preside of product development and marketing for Seneca, said both the system builder and distribution business are experiencing double digit growth for Seneca.
