| These chickens didn't aim to cross squat
To head off that old question: The chickens had no intention of crossing the road. Instead, they came crashing off a trailer, in crates, leaving feathers and carcasses on a mile-long stretch of Interstate 5. Oregon State Police said about 20 crates bound for Southern California fell near an exit at Eugene. Each contained eight to 10 chickens.Three drivers reported hitting crates. Some of the fowl died inside, others on the highway or in the snow-filled ditches.Troopers said they had no estimate of the number. The driver of a pickup truck, Xin Li, 39, got a $242 ticket for a loose and shifting load that totaled about 160 crates, troopers said. They said straps on Li's trailer broke. As the living clucked, a state trooper contemplated the carnage."I've never seen anything like this before," Oregon State Police trooper Blain Hlebechuk told the Eugene Register-Guard.

THE GAP WIDENS: MSU shows U-M how far it has to go to ignite rivalry
Little sister!" was the resounding chant, and if it hit the Wolverines hard, well, they'll have to fight back harder. We've seen this game before. Heck, we've seen this game 10 straight years at the Breslin Center. The Spartans hammered the Wolverines again, 77-62, and this outcome was completely expected. .
Romero Britto: Becomes the Visual Art Image of Miami
Romero Britto's Company is attempting to become the Dale Chihuly of Miami. Like Chihuly in Seattle, Britto is basically a local boy that is achieving worldwide artistic fame from home and thus emerges as an image for the City itself. Unlike Chihuly, the Britto Company ignores the museum circles or artculture. His team follows Peter Max nearly step-by-step minus some association with Rock and Roll or equal. Both Max and Britto Have sold on cruise ships, designed United Nations stamps, created imagery for international sports events, volunteered for good will fiberglass sculpture events and painted airplanes and cars. According to the New York Times, the company's 2006 revenues exceeded $12 million dollars. Normally, the public art establishment would ignore Britto as they ignore the other mass producers of colorful or slightly sexual prints and small sculptures.

We are going through a rough patch right now. If the Democrats would have allowed President Bush's bill to go through 8 years ago, we would have had oil pumping in our own country by now. Instead we are at the mercy of the Middle East. Bush's hands have been tied on every turn. .
