Marketing communications group Aegis is in talks to buy a stake in digital media company i-Level. i-Level appointed corporate finance advisers at Ingenious Media at the end of last year to advise on a strategic review, a move that could lead to a sale of the business for around £70m-£100m. According to sources, Aegis has made it through to the second round of the auction. Aegis, which owns digital marketing network Isobar, is vying with independent interactive marketing group AKQA and a couple of private equity firms for i-Level. .
